The Authenex Strong Authentication System (ASAS™) provides two-factor authentication for remote VPN, LAN, and web-based access. Authenex ASAS prevents unwanted network intrusions by employing a convenient token called the Authenex A-Key®. The chip-based A-Key can be used to authenticate via PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Challenge-Response or One-Time Password. The ASAS authentication server uses RADIUS and TCP/IP protocols, is VPN and firewall interoperable, and supports ODBC to use SQL databases - providing networks with an efficient two-factor authentication system that integrates easily with an existing security infrastructure.
Authenex ASafe™ is an affordable and simple-to-use alternative to PKI-based applications that allows users to encrypt and decrypt files locally using their Authenex A-Key. A-Key users can also securely exchange files with other A-Key users over the Web, email or any other type of network - without having to deploy certificates or certificate servers.
| ACert Using
ACert allows digital certificates to be stored on the Authenex A-Key for use in PKI implementations. The Authenex A-Key contains flash memory that allows the storage of user information such as digital certificates, PKI information and windows credentials - providing a highly mobile two-factor authentication hardware device for PKI applications.
The v4 A-Key® token is a password-protected USB token that offers up to 1 GB of encrypted storage for files and applications. It leaves no footprint wherever it is used. The A-Key® token is also tamper-proof and provides protection against brute force penetration.
The Authenex A-Key® is a house-key sized token that serves as the platform for the Authenex suite of strong, two-factor e-security applications. The unique benefit of the A-Key is its on-board CPU allowing secure functions to be executed on the token and not on the computer. Embedded drivers and combined authentication features offer total mobility and maximum flexibility for A-Key users.
The Authenex Strong Authentication System (ASAS™) is also available as a convenient stand-alone appliance providing two-factor authentication. The combined hardware and software form factor provides the complete ASAS solution for an ease of deployment. All components are plug and play ready out of the box.
